You know you can walk up to the top of the Rikki's Music side? Behind what used to be Pillans & Wilson there's a path along the railway line - you can wander to the very end where there's a few old chairs for the jakeys and peer over the edge.

I was just speaking to my Dad about this!
I remember the bridge being there and he told me it was removed in 1980 so there you go.

Very interesting - I thought the two images were a before/after pair at first, which would've worked. Guess the idea of a bridge explains the symmetry then.
