Damp bottle brush

Yes, it's still raining!! We are holed up with the Sunday papers and croissants but I have just taken a little walk around the garden. The situation is damp and everything is pretty saturated. Bottle brush plants are very weird as they look dead and knobbly for most of the year then suddenly burst forth with these rather bright and spiky flowers. I like the clusters of raindrops on each little frond.
