Nom

First full day of our long weekend away, and typically the wee man isn't feeling too well. He's got a bit of a cough, and coughed so much last night when we put him to bed that he was sick. We drove down to Helensburgh to go to the chemist to see if there was any infant cough medicine we could give him, but the pharmacist said he'd be better seeing a doctor. After trying to see a doctor in Helensburgh, we were told we'd have to go to a surgery closer to where we were staying. We eventually got him an appointment for 4.10pm in Alexandria, only to be told that he's just got a bit of a cough, and that it was probably nothing and just to keep an eye on him. Of course, by this time he was feeling a bit better, so we weren't too concerned that it was anything serious, but it was best to get him checked out all the same.

So, although we didn't get to see much of Loch Lomond, we did get to see a few doctors surgeries, and can only commend the surgery in Alexandria for not only getting us an appointment at relatively short notice, but for also seeing us a full 20 minutes before our appointment time! Our local surgery seems to have a policy of calling you 20 minutes late for any appointment!
