Phoenix Park

A perfect day! Woke up to sunshine and stunningly blue sky. Something I had wished for but could quite believe it when I saw it. A quick morning walk to Phoenix Park was just the thing to start the day. A major advantage staying the the Phoenix Park hotel (many thanx to dublinshootersince despite his injury he helped a lot with choosing a hotel to stay). Then after a walk in Dublin we were to meet him in Brasserie 66 (great restaurant, highly recommended) for lunch. This was followed by a few pints of Guinness (excellent) at the Old Stand with great views of the passerbys and some really wonderful conversation. dublinshooter had to leave to rest before meeting with a friend. This is also what we did: a coffee was in order before we continued the search for that perfect pint. Three pubs later we still weren't sure so we left the decision for the tomorrow :-)
