The Lozarithm Lens

Marwell Wildlife

Last May I went on a birthday outing to Marwell Wildlife, in Hampshire, and had a great time. However, it isn't possible to do it justice in one day and there were a number of avenues we didn't explore, so today I went back for a second look.

Number one on my list of priorities was the snow leopard enclosure. They weren't making themselves known last time, and I was also unlucky on a visit to Twycross Zoo in June. Today, they were all basking in the sun, asleep, but in secluded spots, safe from prying lenses, but I was very pleased to get this shot of one of them.

If any animal could trump the leopard, it could only be the snow leopard.

P.S. Today's Elvis DVD freebie was King Creole, from 1958, before Col Tom Parker turned him into a cash cow.
