This part of the lane has a steep drop to one side, as it did even before the wind turbine workers made the lane twice as wide.

In the winter, after rain, the track turned into a quagmire and I was never very happy if Steve chose to drive this way to or from the village as our wheels couldn't get much of a grip!

But now the wind turbine company have put up this safety netting... not that it will prevent you from plunging down to the valley, but at least they can say that they warned you!
