My Kitchen

Welcome to my kitchen. It's nothing to brag about, but it gets the job done. We wash dishes in the two sink areas, hang the pots on the right, stack dishes on the shelves in the back. The stove and oven are in the common area, and most food preparation is done sitting on the ground on mats.

The great thing is, with two sinks one person can be washing and one rinsing after we feed 50-60 people for our Tuesday night gathering. My least favorite part is the mosquitoes. If you're doing dishes after dark you have to do the mosquito dance while you wash. It goes something like this, bob from one foot to the other, jump a little, switch off lifting each leg like you're marching....etc....anything to keep you moving so they can't bite you.
