Baklava joy

Blustery, wet and cold today. Luckily, I had sunshine on a plate.

We had wonderful Turkish food in Aachen yesterday and I brought back a small selection of baklavas from the restaurant. Unlike industrially made sweets, these were light and not teeth-curlingly sweet. The ground pistachio ones in the front are called zade. The other name for them is bliss.


It's even yummier large.
