Golden Poppy Stamens

More Golden Poppy photos today while they're still photogenic.

I decide to extend the macro range of the Canon 100mm f2.8L Macro by inverting a 50mm lens and attaching it to the front of the macro lens. Since I didn't have a fancy double threaded lens extenstion thingy, I modified a foam "can caddy" by removing the bottom and used it to hold the two lenses together. You can see that set-up here.

This marks the end of a 10 day project with these poppies that resulted in over 6000 frames captured for my 3 minute video "Golden Poppies Timelapse".
