PEOPLE OF OSLO continues

Please meet this very special lady with a very special job and with a very special big heart, Kirsten Belck-Olsen.

I met her in real life for the first time today, I will see her tomorrow and the nicest of all : I will meet her in October - hopefully in Gaza.

I work in the trade union and she work in Norwegian People's Aid. Our organizations have some projects for palestinian youth and women together. She has been 5 years in Gaza as the country director for Norwegian People Aid, and had a lot to tell us today about how life is under occupation. 1,5 millions live in Gaza, and 70 % of them are refugees. The most disturbing fact is that 50 % of the population is under 18 years old. Kirsten has the patience and hope that is needed in her kind of job, and I admire her deeply.

Needless to say, I can't wait to pack my bags to go to visit her and our projects!
