RW's Daily Exposures

First Morning in Camp

So, finally I get to doing my backblips. Now, I will be onto catching up with everyone's photos and comments. Thanks for your patience.

This is a shot of a Jeffrey Pine amidst a small grove of Aspens. The Aspens were just starting to show signs of fall colors, but most were with full green leaves. This little area was right next to our campsite and I found it very difficult to shoot due to lighting and composition challenges. I wanted to capture this to show the view on one side of our camp and the contrast between the granite boulders, the Jeffrey Pine and the white mottled bark of the Aspens. This was our first full day in the Sierras on our trip.

Please let me know what you think.

Enjoy!
