Massaging the Truth

Just a brill morning, watching the sum rising with glorious light and good company. Juno too busy chasing tennis balls with Baxter.

I would like to thank the state visitor fro a simply brilliant walk to work, my lungs were full of fresh air and I could taste it's freshness on Princes Street due to the lack of traffic.

Work was brilliant today.

I have never been so popeular at work as today. I sit at a window seat overlooking Lothian Rd, regularly I had visitors at my desk on RC watch. I started giving updated 10.30 - 6 nuns, one cyclist and a dodgy looking bloke with a baseball cap. Fast moving blacked out cars zoomed past, the excited nuns clapped and waved.

Nipped out to sample the crowds, had a fantastic banter with
Miriam and some blippers. What a fun and pleasant atmosphere, it heartened me that people still believe strongly enough to protest.

The Statesman sped past, too exhausted to bother to wave and passed on.

This picture sums up the city, we try so hard to portrait a 'corporate view', resurfacing roads, tidying up the place but the reality is here to see.
Posted first by most fashionable blipper from a better angle.

This is the second pope I have seen it my lifetime in Edinburgh, last time I was kneed in the balls by an Orange man of some Scottish fame.

Great cup of tea and chat afterwards. Ordered 3 tea bushes for the allotment, the start of plantation.

With all the press and Papal message, I must enroll in aggression classes over the winter to complete my stereo type.
