Kowhai

The beautiful delicate tiny leaves of the Kowhai tree from my garden.

The Kowhai are small, woody legume trees native to New Zealand. They are grown throughout the country and are a common feature in gardens. During spring they bear bright yellow flowers in great profusion. The base of which is filled with nectar for the Tui, Bellbird and Stitchbird.

Finally I'm catching up with my blips. If you would like to view my backblips they
start here.

Wednesday late afternoon - time to get tea. We are now on daylight saving hours so the evenings are longer and lighter and time gets away on me.

Have a great Thursday :)
