Stuck in a tree

They're laying the cable in the trench this morning, and here we have the cable stuck in an olive tree belonging to our neighbour... in fact the bloke under the tree had to actually climb it to get the cable untangled.

One local farmer came all the way up another lane that meets the new road and had to stop because the trench was in the way. He wasn't very happy at having to turn his tractor around and go another (longer) way. He only wanted to pick his almonds!

They've just reached the bottom of our access lane, and had to stop cable-laying as our track needs the trench re-opening.... wonder if we'll be able to go out shopping this morning?

The annoying this is that the turbine people don't inform anyone of what they're doing, but that's big business for you.
