Best chicken fingers in the world. Period.

Last minute trip to Gulf Shores, Alabama (on the Gulf of Mexico) for a going-away gathering for White's mum, before she heads back to England. It just sort of cropped up at the last minute - and here I am driving late into the night. Don't know when (or if) she'll be back, considering last month's catastrophe, so I felt I really needed to see her off this time.

It's a 5-6 hour drive, and this place - Guthrie's - is about halfway there. They only have one item on the menu - okay, two - chicken fingers and chicken finger sandwiches. I always stop.
