Front Porch View II

I blipped the first porch view the morning after we'd moved to our new, temporary living quarters, just a month and a day ago. We're pretty much settled now, and the fall colors are more or less reaching their peak--turning out better than I'd thought a few days ago.

It's about 9:30 in the morning. I took 11 shots, aiming to get a single car in a strategic position; this was the final one, and I was lucky to catch the lady with her cell phone and floppy pants in full stride. [view LARGE]

The Old Burial Grounds, now known as the Bridge Street Cemetery, is in the background. The Bridge Street Elementary School is the building in the left distance, with a school bus in front. That's where our little neighbor Aidan attends school.

Comparing this with the first view (link above): We've taken in the morning's newspaper, and our landlords have added a pair of flowerpots. The lone pedestrian is striding in the opposite direction.
