RC madness

Today after lunch me and U started our way to the grandparents, who iive in Oulu 200km south from Oulu. U took a small nap at the car and was really happy scout when reached the destination. Naturally grandma and grandpa were thrilled to get U there for the weekend and had some plans to visit to the summer cabin to prepare it for the winter etc.

It's funny when children have always that one toy that they remember and what draws their attention. At the grandparents it's my almost quarter of a century old RC car. The one I build with my father and have modified and painted during the years it was in active use. It has been stored well and still works ok, even it has encountered mud, rain, snow and the most extreme surrounding you can imagine for a toy like that. Well, it has been manufactured in Japan ;) wonder if they do such a quality items in cheap factories nowadays..
