MuddyFawkes

Other than a visit to the barbers for Euan and I today, the rest of the daylight hours were spent trying to scrape the mud off this thing after last night's unscheduled off-road activities.

It looked pretty bad last night but, boy, did it not look ten times worse this morning under a heavy frost. Once it had thawed out it was all hands to the power washer and the hammer and chisel to try to recover the bodywork to near it's former glory. Thankfully, after 3 hours, it seems to be nearly back to driveable and the agricultural aroma is slowly being taken over by more pleasant smells.

Sniff it large it in mighty-muddy-vision

I almost took up the mother-in-law's suggestion as she arrived to see this this morning. She said she goes to a garage nearby where they do a great power wash as you sit in the car for a fiver. I was so tempted to drive along there and sit in the queue for the car wash and see how they'd react. I would have offered them an extra quid for the extra work of course...

I'm for a couple of beers now, have a good evening y'all.
