Autumn at work

After picking up my son at school, we headed straight back to my work so I could finish up a few things before heading home. I am still just feeling plain horrible and could really use a nap or two even.

This beautiful tree is right outside my office window, and I've been watching the leaves softly cascade down to the ground for a week. I've tried shots of the sun bursting through the bright colored leaves, but the images just weren't what I was looking for.

I figured it would be a great opportunity for my son to have some fun, and I thought his green sweatshirt really made for some lovely contrast. I had trouble choosing, which always happens when it's a photo of my boys. I loved this one the most though, as it encompasses his innocence, love and pure bliss. :)

P.S. My son just came in and said this looks like he's singing. Cute.
