A colour project - Red

Hi! Feeling much much better today. Red seemed a livelier choice as well.

Although not particularly my favourite colour, I actually love red roses (how typical!) In Calatonia, to celebrate St. George's day, guys give a red rose to their loved ones, a really nice gesture based on a historical legend.

Red. A bold colour that has a strong presence and personality and immediately draws your attention. The colour of passion and blood. A colour used by women to attract men.

It makes me think of Red Riding Hood, Post Boxes, CocaCola, strawberries, cherries, exam corrections, wine, lips, the wrong colour on traffic lights...

...and, telephone boxes!! Yes, these obsolete things that hardly anybody uses anymore. When I walk up the Royal Mile on my way to work it always surprises me to see so many of them. Who actually uses them, when nowadays everybody but their grannies owns a mobile phone! A mystery!

I suppose they must be there for the tourists to take photos, although I have to say that they're kept in a pretty bad state.

Now relaxing after a long and tiring day at work. Working tomorrow again!
