Land of Enchantment

The Last vegetable Standing

We cleared out our vegetable garden after the night freezes began. They were not hard freezes and so the Swiss Chard was not really damaged. We left one section of red chard and the asparagus and composted numerous green cooking tomatoes. The garden produced well for us this year. I learned a lot and I hope to have more and varied goodies next spring.

A visiting Jack Russell tarrier is checking out the chard, too. I hope she does not water it.
