Pheasant Feathers

I have pheasant on the menu this weekend by the looks.

Could not resist taking a blip of the beautiful colours and patterns of the feathers of these birds. This is a cock bird the hen birds have beautiful patterns too, but are more beige and brown and do not have the striking colours of the male or the red around the eye.
