Testing Testing

The one style of photography that I have had trouble in getting excited about is macro photography. The camera and lenses I have are almost perfectly designed for the exact opposite, wide sprawling landscapes are perfect for my kit.

However, at the weekend, I treated myself to a new lens, a Tamron 90mm f2.8 1:1 macro so that I can start to produce more stock images. This is my first using this new lens. It certainly shows detail in the focus points but very quickly disappears despite the F10 aperture.

What do you people think about this as a technical exercise?
