Copan Building from the top of Torre Italia, SP

Here's the Copan Building, taken from the top of Torre Italia looking towards Avenida Paulista (marked by the all the aerials on top). It's 38 storeys and 140 metres high! It was completed in 1966 and designed by Oscar Niemeyer, who's still going strong at 104 and lives in Rio de Janeiro. To get up to the rooftop terrace we had to take a lift to the 37th floor and then take another lift to the 41st, where there's a restaurant.........with a view!

Bb's shot today is from the street level - here

PS: I used Bb's camera today as mine is in the repair shop having a spot of dust removed from the sensor - back tomorrow. Bb made very sure that I had his camera strap securely round my neck before I took these shots!
