Save Our Cinema

Even with the weather warnings for the area and a thoroughly wet and miserable day people turned out in the hundreds to add support to the save the local independent cinema in Penrith. Petition is here if anyone wants to sign and support us. Dawn has done an amazing job so far. It is a terrible shame that a business that is running at a profit is being forced to finish, particularly in the present economic climate. Apart from that I really don't think that Penrith is the sort of town that needs a massive pub chain.
