Marino Crescent

I've blipped this before, but in a very different way. This is part of Marino Crescent, in one of whose houses Bram Stoker (author of Dracula) was born.

Our weekly meeting of the Music Group began later than usual because we were continuing afterwards to help celebrate the host's impending 50th birthday with a 'Birthday Finger Supper' as the invitation put it. Tom, one of the Group, works near this curve of fine old buildings, and we'd arranged to meet when he finished work and have a bite to eat before going on to the music session. The weather had changed drastically, turning bright and mild from its recent dull and chilly, and I was early enough to get some blipping in before Tom was finished work.

We had a great session, with everyone in great form and a nicely varied selection of wonderful music on the menu. The finger supper was a great success. The numbers were swelled when the music finished by extra bodies who aren't actually in the Group, including Carl. I don't remember what time we broke up, but at least we all left before the host got to the stage of having had enough of us.
