Stealing Blip Ideas

I have blatantly copied Dublinshooters blip technique today.

It was raining and I was in the right place at the right time.

Squally showers have been coming across for most of the morning. It is supposed to turn into heavy rain later. I was near Manly Harbour when a heavy shower came over so I parked the car set my compact to macro and tried to get the raindrops in the windscreen with a fuzzy background. Unfortunately the focus didn't quite get it right but this effect was better than the other few shots I took.

Dublinshooter saved me from an indoor blip (unless you count "in the car" as indoors).

This morning I paid for all the appliances for the new kitchen and bought a few other things. I feel like a tidal wave of money is cascading out of our bank at the moment. It is needlessly stressing me out. The money has to be spent or we don't get a kitchen. It is that easy.

Now if I could just get the builder to answer my calls to tee up the last of the modifications to the room that was the kitchen I would be laughing (all be it a bit hysterically).

I am not looking forward to work tonight. The manager phoned me this morning and pointed out that I made quite a significant (and costly) mistake last night. Oops! I just wish he had waited till I got to work to tell me.

Then there is the holiday in Cairns in July for my 40th. I have quite a lot of family coming from the UK. Organising flights, accommodation, car rentals, is proving to be difficult. Especially because we will be going during school holidays so to get a good deal I need to get cracking now!!!!! I think our house might be full for a few days as well. Hopefully I will be able to get tis one sorted out before the end of next week.
