On the road towards Mt. Cook, NZ

We were very lucky ... often the clouds are down and you don't see Mt Cook at all!

We stayed a night in a motel at The Hermitage, did a couple of walks and saw immense glacial features that we'd only visualised in theory when doing our geographical studies. How it must be so wonderful to be a student these days. You have the chance to see things that we only read about.
