PEOPLE OF OSLO continues - RACISM

Some people of Oslo experience racism.

This gentleman is a Norwegian citizen and was granted asylum many years ago. He is originally from Ethiopia, and stood in front of Oslo's cathedral in solidarity with Ethiopians who are without id-papers and refused asylum in Norway. They want individual treatment of their asylum applications. Several hundred of them has been collectively rejected.

They can not be returned to Ethiopia because Norway does not have an agreement with Ethiopia to accept asylum seekers who have been rejected. The group in the cathdral get support from Norwegian Peoples Aid and other organisations.

The older gentleman behaved not like a gentleman the time I observed him. After verbally abusing his fellow Norwegian, pointing fingers in his face, pushing him, he ended his "performance" by pulling his sweater shouting that he himself could not afford to buy such sweater.

He didn't mind me taking photos, and a reporter from the press took also pictures.
His message was clear, every black man out of Norway, no person should get asylum in our country.

It must have been a hell to experience for the black Norwegian man of Oslo, but at least he remained his dignity without raising his voice, not walking, and responding in a very polite and even respectful way.

I hope that our new citizen also experienced that no one supported the racist, but was shocked by his behaviour.
