Spiky

I'm not sure what this plant is but it is so fantastically spiky. It seems to have some kind of large brown seed left on it too. Perhaps I should pinch some, plant them and see what grows? I had trouble getting a decent picture of this plant as the wind kept blowing it around. I must have looked very strange from the main road as I bent over the plant.

Only a quick lunchtime walk today as I was trying to find out how to buy a cheaper rail ticket for tomorrow's trip to see a recording of The News Quiz. We have free tickets but it could cost a bit to get three of us up to London. Hope we get in as they over ticket in case of no-shows.

My alternative image for today was the 'service unavailable' screen that replaced our main work websites all day. Apparently the engineers in the US had a busy day. Not sure when it will be back but it meant we had a quiet day in the office.
