My Heart

My baby boy will be 18 on April 7.

He was helping me with the tripod they bought me for Christmas. I have caught some sort of bug/sore throat thing. It is very uncomfortable and left me laying on the couch for the day. Anyhoo, he is a genius with all things. He is also a much more patient model than Kailey. While I am reading my book "Understanding Exposure", adjusting f/stops and ISOs and shutter speeds, he sits patiently while I focus and shoot all sorts of exposures of him. I liked this one best.

They say the eyes are windows to the soul. Do you see the reflection of the windows in his glasses? Some sort of spiritual metaphor there, I am sure. Josh is a kind, patient sort of old soul. Each day I adore him even if he is so much like his Dad.
