Additonal information:
With my legs aching like you wouldn't believe (from yesterday's pyramid exploration), it was all I could do to drag myself (almost literally) into work. It was supposed to be back to normal today, but it didn't seem like it. The only students that turned up were those who had arranged on Facebook to hold a protest. There were about fifty or so of them, all protesting that their grades are too low, and that when experiencing a revolution the pass marks should be lowered to enable them to pass.

I almost couldn't believe what I was hearing. "Mignoon!" (complete with twirly-finger-by-the-temple gesture), as the President so eloquently put it.

Trying to get the semester started proved impossible, with everybody keen to emphasis that 'The Revolution' means they are now fully justified in not doing an awful lot. The planned classroom revamp (air-conditioners, tables, the usual stuff) for the English Department didn't happen, as was expected. When I suggested to the powers that be that it will never happen, they said "We have just had a revolution! Anything can happen!".

I wonder if I'm going to have to pop down to Tahrir Square in order to get my air-conditioners.
