Sunday 9 September 2007: People are weird

A week and a half ago, I bought my wife a dozen roses for her birthday. Today I looked at them again and they're starting to look old, shriveled and dry.

It's funny, actually, how we give gifts that are dying already before the recipients sees them. Or maybe I'm just being far too rational right now ;-)
