Sunday 27 May 2012: Flying Josh
We spent a very pleasant, if very hot, morning in the market town of Beverley today at the urban race. Pleased to report that knee held up and although I was beaten by pal Marcia, I stayed ahead of pal Karen, so all is well with the world.
Afterwards we congegrated with other orienteering pals at the conveniently situated bar/cafe just opposite the finish in the market place and sat in the sunshine sharing post mortems and other interesting news items.
This is young Josh powering in to the finish to win his class - Men's Elite, so fast that his feet don't touch the floor. Well done Josh, you can never have enough buffs (prize for 1st place!)
