Friday 11 November 2011: Whittling

I started to carve a wee bit of stick. Acquired a couple of injuries already... the worst of which is when the knife slipped and gouged into my left hand in the crease between thumb and forefinger... I 1/2 expected that I might need a stitch or two... but 1st aid seems to have been enough. Though was glad to have some dilute chlorhexidine to wash out the wound a few days later as it looked a little pus-y, much happier again now
