Wednesday 17 March 2010: Nature?
The second day of the Thames Gateway excusrsion, which brought us to the Cliffe Marshes, a very important bird area at the banks of the Medway. Quite interesting, because it used to be an intensively used industrial site and is actually still enclosed by industry. The 'lakes' are former sand 'mines'. But it is not all too beautiful actually. I thought this picture matched the atmosphere there a bit.
Please also have a look at these backblips of yesterday and Monday.
Sorry no commenting; hotel internet connection ends and battery is low!
Happy blipping!
