Apples and Oranges

By Anitsirk

The back of the church in which the funeral was held.
It was like most funerals for loved ones who had lived a long life, with family, relatives and friends. Light parts and sad parts, tears and smiles, singing and talk. I could hear her comments in my head, during the funeral. She was very frank and had opinions, and a very warm and kind heart. I will miss her.
I didn’t stay for the meal afterwards, I didn’t know anyone but the close family and they would’ve had their relatives close. Fortunately, I wasn’t the only one leaving.
