Life in the Mini Meadow

We returned from holiday to discover the mini meadow has burst into life.  I've been busy blipping it from every angle to update my photographic record.  It's always interesting to see what is dominating as it can change year on year.  Last year I threw in lots of poppy seeds but can't spot a one yet.  Tony brought on ragged robin in the greenhouse and planted them before Christmas and we now have three patches of them, a plant I've been missing since the first years of the mini meadow.  It really prefers moist ground but we'll see how it goes.

Plants flowering at the moment: meadow buttercup; aquilegia; plantain; sorrel; red campion; dandelion; yellow rattle and ragged robin.  I've also spotted clover; mallow; chicory; knapweed and yarrow on the way.
