Sustainable beauty

I finally found a hairdresser who was a delight to talk to, the husband of a friend in the band.  He's unique in that he is utterly environmentally green, won't use chemicals, refused to put colour on my hair; we talked politics and his love of playing the tuba.  He may not have passed on grace and elegance, but I love it.  (There's also a very good cafe above the salon, in Windermere.)
