Recently retired, after more than 20 years at St Andrews University Library, mostly buying books. Previously travelled with my husband in the Merchant Navy mostly in the Pacific Ocean & Far East. Before that I was a midwife.
Lots of interests, gardening, ( jungle...), pets, ( I am ruled by a rescue cat),reading, painting, walking, politics, cooking. Not necessarily in that order.
Spikey, my lovely rescue cat died in 2017, (I still miss him & all his predecessors, Sherry, The Lad, Whisky & Fritz) now we have a rescued mum & son, Shiraz and Sparky who are great fun.
