I read somewhere that a photographer should display his or her work for people to see. After all, isn't that why we take photographs? For people to see and enjoy?

My goal on blipfoto is to display my work as an amateur photographer. I have always had a passion for taking photographs as long as I can remember and started out many years ago when 35mm film cameras were just becoming popular. My first camera was a big black, boxy, plastic one that I can't even remember the name. At that time my Dad had a Kodak Instamatic, the one with the "flash cubes"! Yes, I am old enough to remember the first Polaroid camera! I hear it is making a comeback!

I hope people will find my pictures interesting and feel free to comment about them so that I can improve my technique.  Constructive comments are always welcome.

On the technical side, I use either a Nikon D7500 or Canon 7D DSLR camera to take my shots and an iMac with OS 12.6 and Adobe Lightroom software to post-process my RAW and JPG files.

I enjoy the blipfoto community and work hard to contribute comments to others posting pictures here.  I've seen some wonderful shots and thoroughly enjoy the community spirit!
