I am a happily married, Native American, living in Arkansas and love taking pictures and videos, rather it's with my DSLR, Samsung Phone or Gopro. On February 13th, 2017 I had a horrible accident doing what I love most  - taking pictures. I was planning to time-lapse a sunset on the top of a bluff. While preparing to do so, I stepped unto an uneven part of the rock and all my camera gear that was on my back, shifted my weight and I fell 30 ft to the bottom. By the grace of God, I was life-flighted and spent a week in critical care. I have learned to never take life for granted, but it makes me enjoy photography even more. I see things differently and I take pictures every day capturing God's beauty. You know, the day I fell, I had spent the earlier part of the day playing on the trampoline with my 4 year old son. My phone was destroyed on impact, but I was able to retrieve the video's and pictures that day from my SD card. I thought, I was so happy I took pictures that day because if anything had happened, he would have had our last good memory. So that is what I do, I capture memories every moment I can! Glad to be part of this community.

I have really enjoyed this site. People are so friendly and encouraging. I am starting to get the hang of it, and appreciate all the advice given by members!
