My blip name 'GOD' is short for my journal title,  Growing Old Disgracefully.  I don't mean to be disrespectful - it happened by accident and folks seemed to like it so I left it.

I am a sixty-eight year old Grannyand carer. I’ve recently retired as a mindfulness teacher.  I live with my professor -  the most wonderfully witty, kind and loving man you could meet.  We spend six days a week with our youngest grandson, who fills our lives with joy, keeps us on our toes and in our place.

Blipping for me is more about the journal than the photograph, although I do want to improve my images and I like learning from fellow blippers.   I don't always post my 'best' image of the day - by rather the one that has some story or emotion attached.

I like getting in close and recording the detail, especially of pebbles, flowers, mosses and lichen.  I often find enough inspiration in our almost half an acre garden, where I raise fruit and veg and the flowers fend for themselves.

Recently I've been doing arty stuff, so not so often on here, but still love the Blip community for its endless inspiration and encouragement.
