Joined 2012: Living with my awesome hubby and 3 children, not forgetting my best mate springer, leading a hectic, but wonderful family life.  Love to read, be outdoors & take photos! At my happiest on family outings to a sandy beach, in a Scots Pine forest, by a loch, in sun or snow, walking, cycling or on the water.

Update: 7th March 2015 - I've blipped sporadically, mainly of holidays or events, rather than a daily journal. My lovely friend has motivated me to start blipping again and I'm hoping this will be a daily journal of our life

Update October 2016
We sadly lost "my best mate springer" in May of this year, still miss him dreadfully :-( However we have a lovely new family member "Young Pup" who is keeping us very busy and slightly sleep deprived. He is already my constant companion and my new "best (canine) boy". Update August 2017 in June another little pup joined our family so that's Big Pup & Little Pup! Both wonderful, totally different temperaments, not to mention colours, so lucky to have my 2 best canine boys :-)

Life is good, family come first, so I'm rather "time poor" for my photography and Blip .... don't get much time to comment and some days don't even have time to look, but I try to shower my stars & hearts around & comment when i can..... bear with me please ;-)

September 2019: so many changes in the last year when my hubby was involved in a catastrophic accident resulting in life changing injuries - lucky to still have him with us, but life has changed so much, I can't even begin. If I thought I was time poor a year ago, I most definitely am now, very little interaction from me for now.

I'm on Instagram as islemumphotos and life.of.2.highland.pups
