Update July 2019:
I started Emma Davies's photography course A Year With My Camera in January 2019, and finally learned the basics of using our DSLR.  She mentioned Blipfoto, so I checked it out. I love the community, and the reminder to take photos every day.

I am fascinated by macro photography, especially of bugs, as I find it amazing to discover details which I have never seen before in the fifty odd years I've been enjoying nature.
