Thoroughly Messed About With...

In stark contrast to Wednesday's Moon Shot this one has been ... enhanced. It needed it, since despite the earlier sunshine, the view across the reservoir was grey with shades of darker grey.

The reservoir in Ardleigh feeds water to two local water companies and attracts the usual inland water sports of fishing and boating. Anyhow, what you see here is a combination of three differing exposures of the exact same scene, combined in HDR software and then tweaked a bit more.

The original shot was in need of a thorough dressing up, as without the sunshine, it just didn't work at all. Here's the original.. I'll leave you to decide whether you're a fan of messing about with photos or not, but I hope you like it.
