Common Assassin Bug Nymph

This is the nymph (juvenile) stage of Queensland's common assassin bug (Pristhesancus plagipennis).

It was on the top of the rubbish bin and acting very aggressively when I poked a lens near it. In order to get this side view, I had to get someone else to distract it with their hand.

It is NOT a good idea to get bitten by one of these.
