The Dalmore

I made a pilgrimage to Alness, Scotland in 2004 and visited the distillery as part of our UK vacation. The Dalmore is one of my favourite single malts. Although the distillery was closed for the summer, they gave us a special tour anyway culminating in a nice drink of the pre-casked drink. The gift shop did well by me. I picked up the decanter partly seen here. It's shaped like their copper stills. I also picked up the glass, an fleece jacket, a bottle of the Cigar Malt and a bottle of the Black Isle version that are were not available in Canada at the time. Sampled first, of course. I think I picked up a small quaich there as well. Now where did I put that? Also visited the Oban distillery. Good times.
