JoY!

My friend Joy is here and my dad took this wonderful photo. How cool is that?! We are all having a wonderful time with Joy who arrived this morning. When she went to meet my parents she first walked around outside and marveled at their gardens (it's not just me!!). Then she admired my dad's wood working skills. He has built bookshelves, bowls, wooden platters, Dining Room tables, coffee tables . . . and boats of course! Then, through our conversation, we found out that my dad knew Joy's grandfather through his work as a stock broker when he was young, so amazing.

My messy desk has been cleaned up a little and I finished my journal page tonight. You can view it here. Writing about it is on my art blog. Thanks!!
