Angry clouds, angry mood!

The other house fell through. They refused our application due to 1 item. They didn't even complete the reference checks. If they'd done that and got a complete picture, we probably would be ok.

Very very angry. Especially when the professional lady asked how I was, I obviously said that I wasn't great and she replied "I didn't think so, but I have to be polite" .. I asked a few more questions and then she said that this was the way her agency ran and that they'd had to turn other people away from the property - I tongue in cheek said 'taking half our money in the process' and she said that she didn't appreciate my tone - I wasn't rude at all, I had tears streaming down my face!!

We're going to try to get some of that admin fee back, it only costs them £35 to do the credit reference check. Out of £210, if they haven't done anything else, there MUST be something SOMEWHERE which says that they haven't held up to their end of the bargain.

I wonder if I can request a lightening bolt hits their building, destroys their phone line which will then in turn damage all their computers. One can wish.
